Reservation done 90 days in advance.
Reservation time from 06.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs at reservation centers *. Counters working Hours may vary from place to place.
Half ticket for children 5 yrs above but below 12 yrs, children above 130cms Height will be charged full fare, other wise original age proof certificate to be produced at the time journey.
Single Child Booking not allowed due to Safe & Security reasons. Children should always reserve the ticket with Adult only.
The reserved Journey tickets are not transferable and can not be preponed or postponed.
We follow Railway timings.
The Lay out of the vehicle may be varied due to some unavoidable circumstances. How ever, the selected seat numbers will not be changed.
Any concession will be given only on the basic fare, excluding reservation fee and other applicable charges.
The reservation passengers are requested to report before the conductor / time office 15 minutes before the departure time.
E-Ticket and Mobile Ticket Passengers must carry a printed / Soft copy of the ticket at the time of journey. It is passenger’s responsibility to keep the Printout / Softcopy of the ticket till end of the journey.
If the passenger is traveling with 'e-Ticket / Mobile Ticket', he will have to produce the Original Identity Card mentioned in the 'e-Ticket / Mobile Ticket' at the time of journey.
Departure time, Running time and Arrival time mentioned in the website is subject to standard operating condition. These timings may get varied due to Road block, Traffic condition, Natural calamity and unavoidable circumstances.
The Bus / Seat No. May be subject to change due to curtailment/clubbing of other services and unavoidable circumstances.
SMS delivery is subject to effective transmission from your mobile service operator and mobile carrier network availability. In case, you have not received Booking SMS, Please check "View Ticket" before proceeding for new ticket booking.
Boarding Points are provided for the benefit of reserved passengers. Passengers has to board from the Bus from Boarding points which are selected while Booking the ticket.
On Peak Travel Days, Pongal and Deepwali Festival days Corporations will change the Boarding Points and same will be advertised in all Media.
You should be available at your Boarding point 15 minutes before the departure time.
SETC & TNSTC is not responsible, if you are missed to board the bus from your selected boarding point while booking. In-case if not boarded from your selected boarding point, same seat will be allotted to unreserved passengers.
SMS Terms and Conditions:
Short Messaging Service (SMS Service) offered by TNSTC is an additional facility to Passengers and also it is not mandatory service.
SMS will be sent only to the mobile number you have registered/given during the advanced booking.
The time to deliver the SMS is dependent upon the traffic on the mobile network and whether your mobile phone is within reach and switched on and cannot therefore be guaranteed by TNSTC.
TNSTC is not liable for any delay or failures in the receipts of any SMS sent to reserved passengers in connection with their travel.
Delivery of SMS (e-ticket, m-ticket, API-ticket, Journey bill alerts, service alerts etc.) depends on mobile service provider of the user and TNSTC is not responsible for its delivery.
SMS Service such as e-ticket, m-ticket, API-ticket, Journey bill alerts etc., may be discontinued at any time without prior notice.
SMS Service is provided with no warranties, express or implied. SETC is not responsible or liable or otherwise have any obligation to you for any loss, damage or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to non-receipt of the SMS for any reasons whatsoever. In no event shall SETC be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
By accepting the Terms and Conditions, you specifically acknowledge and agree to the aforesaid terms and conditions.
Refund rules in respect of journey tickets for E-ticket and M ticket
Before 48 hours of the schedule time of departure of the bus from the origin point. 10% deduction of fare
Between 24 Hrs and 48 Hrs of the schedule time of departure of the bus from the origin point. 20% deduction of fare
Between 60 minutes and 24 Hrs of the schedule time of departure of the bus from the origin point. 25% deduction of fare
Reservation fee, applicable GST on ticket cancellation and other applicable charges will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Cancellation of e-ticket / Mobile tickets is allowed only up to One (1) hour before the scheduled departure of the bus service from the Origin Point. After that cancellation will not be allowed. Further, cancellation can be done only before 9 PM for the current date journey after 10 PM and next day journey before 7 AM
All refunds related to E-Tickets and M-tickets will be refunded to the concerned Credit card / Bank Account only within 3 to 7 bank working days. The time taken for transfer of amount to customer account depends on the concerned bank's policy. In case not received please write to commercial@tnstc.in / pgsupport@billdesk.com mail ID along with your OB Reference Number, Paid details, Transaction Date to get the refund status. SETC is not responsible for the bank side delay. If the service is cancelled by TNSTC for operational reasons, refund applicable will be made to the concerned Credit Card / Bank Account only after receiving refund claim letter from the customer.
In case the ETicket was not booked but amount debited from your Bank account or Credit / Debit card, the amount would be credited back to your account / card within 3 to 7 bank working days.
In case the amount is not credited in 3 to 7 bank working days, please send a refund request letter to the Commercial Manager in the address below, quoting your User ID and Booking reference number (OB Number) of the transaction.
SETC will not be responsible for refund delays from Bank side.
Customers should check Bank account statement which is used for Booking. If you used any UPI mode payments like GPAY, PhonePe, Paytm or any other UPI/ QR payments should verify your Bank Statement for credit of Refund amount Incase of failed transaction or Cancellation refunds.

Amount is credited back on next day to the respective Bank. Bank credits back the amount within 3-5 Bank working days in Account through which booking was done.
2 Settlement Failed and Ticket Not Booked. 1. System or network failure at Banks end or at PG before remitting Ticket Amount to TNSTC. Amount is not credited to TNSTC Account. Amount is with Bank. Bank will refund the Money within 3 to 5 Bank working days after due verification.

"In case of any service was cancelled by TNSTC's due to unavoidable circumstances and no alternate service was operated in place of the Cancelled services, then the passengers reserved in that particular service can get the refund (after deducting applicable service fee) by sending a refund claim letter to the following address, along with original Journey Tickets within 25 (Twenty five) days from the date of journey and no claim will be entertained thereafter."
